Liability Waiver

RDU Sports & Recreation Liability Waiver

By participating in any RDU Sports & Recreation activity, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk: I understand that playing soccer involves physical activity and inherent risks of injury. I voluntarily choose to participate, fully aware of these risks, and I accept all responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur.

Release of Liability: I hereby release and hold harmless RDU Sports & Recreation, its organizers, hosts, volunteers, and Meetup.com from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action related to any injury or damage that may arise from my participation.

Personal Responsibility: I agree that I am in good physical condition and capable of safely participating. I am responsible for my own medical insurance, hydration, and protective gear (e.g., shin guards if desired).

Code of Conduct: I agree to respect all players, play in a safe and inclusive manner, and follow the group's rules. Failure to do so may result in removal from the group.

By joining this group and/or attending any event, I affirm that I have read and agree to this waiver in full.

Media Release

I hereby grant RDU Sports and Recreation, LLC, its members, managers, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns (“Organization”) the irrevocable, perpetual, and worldwide right and permission to photograph, record, and otherwise capture my name, image, likeness, voice, statements, and appearance (“Media”).

I authorize the Organization to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, edit, modify, and otherwise use the Media, in whole or in part, in any format or medium now known or later developed, including but not limited to social media platforms, the Organization's website, promotional materials, advertisements, newsletters, email communications, and press coverage, for lawful promotional, marketing, educational, or informational purposes. I understand that no compensation will be provided and that the Organization shall own all rights, title, and interest in the Media.

I release, discharge, and hold harmless the Organization from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to the creation or use of the Media, including but not limited to claims for invasion of privacy, defamation, misappropriation of likeness, right of publicity, or emotional distress. I acknowledge that once Media is published online, the Organization cannot control or prevent third-party use or distribution.

Revocation of this consent must be made in writing to support@rdusportsrec.com and will apply only to future use; previously produced or published materials are not required to be removed.

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

Terms and Conditions

RDU Sports & Recreation — Terms and Conditions

By registering, you agree to participate in RDU Sports & Recreation activities under these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Membership & Registration. Membership is personal and non-transferable. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke membership for violations of league policies. Registration constitutes acceptance of all current and future league rules.

2. Code of Conduct. All participants must conduct themselves with respect and sportsmanship at all times. Harassment, discrimination, abusive language, or violent behavior toward any player, official, or spectator will result in immediate removal from the league without refund. Decisions by league administrators are final.

3. Fees & Refunds. Registration fees are due at the time of registration. Refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of league administrators and are not guaranteed once a season has begun. If the league is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, a partial or full refund may be offered.

4. Suspension & Removal. RDU Sports & Recreation reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any member who violates these Terms, the Code of Conduct, or any league rules. Suspended or removed members forfeit any remaining fees paid for the current season.

5. Privacy. Your personal information is collected solely to facilitate league operations. We do not sell your data to third parties. By registering, you consent to receive communications related to league activities, including schedule updates, score reports, and administrative notices.

6. Intellectual Property. All content on the RDU Sports & Recreation website and application, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of RDU Sports and Recreation, LLC, and may not be reproduced without express written permission.

7. Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Wake County, North Carolina.

8. Changes to Terms. RDU Sports & Recreation reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. You will be notified of material changes via email. Continued participation after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Code of Conduct

RDU Sports & Recreation — Code of Conduct

RDU Sports & Recreation is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all participants. By registering, you agree to uphold the following standards at all games, events, and league-related activities.

1. Respect for All. Treat every player, referee, volunteer, and spectator with dignity and respect, regardless of skill level, age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or background. Discriminatory language or behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

2. Sportsmanship. Play fair and within the spirit of the game. Celebrate your wins graciously and accept losses with maturity. Acknowledge good play by opponents. Arguing calls, taunting, or deliberately unsportsmanlike behavior may result in removal from the game or league.

3. Zero Tolerance for Violence. Physical aggression, fighting, or threatening behavior toward any person will result in immediate and permanent removal from the league. There are no exceptions to this policy.

4. Language & Communication. Abusive, offensive, or profane language directed at any individual is prohibited. This includes on-field communication, social media posts referencing the league, and all league messaging platforms.

5. Alcohol & Substances. Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances during games or events. Anyone who appears impaired may be asked to leave immediately.

6. Punctuality & Commitment. Arrive on time for scheduled games. Repeated no-shows without notice negatively affect other players and may result in removal from the roster. If you cannot attend, notify your team as early as possible.

7. Follow Officials' Decisions. Referee and administrator decisions are final. Disputes should be raised calmly and through proper channels after the game — never during play. Arguing with or disrespecting officials during a game is grounds for immediate ejection.

8. Reporting. If you witness conduct that violates this Code, report it to a league administrator at support@rdusportsrec.com. All reports will be reviewed confidentially.

Violations of this Code may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent removal from the league at the sole discretion of league administrators. By checking the box below, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
